Kokeshi dolls, a local toy born and nurtured in the Tohoku region of Japan, are now available for purchase. A completely new type of origami has been created by the unit "COCHAE", which continues to work on the theme of "playful design". In this book, COCHAE has taken a look at 11 lines of "traditional Kokeshi dolls" created by 11 craftsmen who are currently active in the industry, and made them into origami. The origami with letter paper on the reverse side can also be used as "message kokeshi".
