Takeo Takei, who left behind many masterpieces for children, was fascinated by kokeshi dolls and was making woodblock prints of his favorite kokeshi dolls until shortly before his death.
This book contains the complete 60 kokeshi woodblock prints from the fantastic limited edition book "Aizo Kokeshi Zufu," which depicts Takei's precious kokeshi collection, which was sadly destroyed in the war!
The book is introduced with commentary by COCHAE and Takei's words. This book is very useful as a source of information on Takeo Takei's origins and prewar traditional kokeshi dolls.

The book also includes 60 pieces from the "Aizo Kokeshi Illustrated Collection," as well as hand paintings and preparatory drawings used as color samples, which are shown for the first time in Japan. Various kokeshi illustrations for New Year's greeting cards, library slips, wrapping paper, etc. are included.
